Losing more than about a quarter inch of water a day? That’s a leak, not evaporation. We track it down with sonar, electronic listening devices, dye testing and pressure testing — under concrete decks, in the shell, at the equipment, in waterfalls and water features — with the pool at normal water level. You get a clear diagnostic report with the exact location, the cause and repair options with pricing before any work begins. And because we’re a licensed C-53 contractor, the same team does the repair.

We replace skimmers and main drains, clear clogged and collapsed lines, replace jets, core-drill through pool surfaces and replumb whole systems when it’s time. Modern equipment pays for itself in energy and water saved. As an authorized Pentair dealer we install and service variable-speed pumps, filters, gas heaters and heat pumps, salt chlorine generators and smartphone automation — and we work on Jandy and Hayward equipment too. Heater installations follow California’s SB 282, in effect since January 1, 2026, which changes what can be installed as a primary heat source. We’ll size the right system for your pool and your climate, whether you’re in the foothills or the East Bay.

That white band along the waterline is calcium and mineral scale, and brushing won’t touch it. We remove it safely from waterline tile, raised spa walls, spillways and steps — often without draining the pool, usually swim-ready the same day — and leave the tile looking the way it did on day one. Our most popular service works without acids or harsh chemicals; for heavier jobs we also offer acid washing and other approaches. If cleaning uncovers cracked or missing tile, we repair or replace it in the same visit.
